As the founding owner for Premiums Promotions & Imports, Bart found a passion for the premium & incentive business as he developed relationships that revolutionized how premiums were used in the world of automotive direct marketing. Direct Mail Express was one of PPI’s biggest customers.
Bart was instrumental in the inception of PPI Sports and PPI Loyalty. PPI Sports continues to be a game changer in the world of collegiate sports, providing marketing and merchandising programs and includes pioneering relationships with the NCAA, Big 10, Big 12 and Big East. PPI Loyalty is an innovative leader in providing member/donor marketing and merchandising solutions for stewardship and solicitation campaigns for collegiate alumni, athletic and academic organizations.
In January of 2017, PPI entered into a joint venture with DME and Bart continues his sales role as Managing Partner. Coincidentally, or maybe it was fate, Bart, and PPI, return to the DME campus where PPI was born.
Bart was born in Gainesville, FL and raised in Pensacola where he went on to graduate from the University of West Florida. He resides in Port Orange, FL with his wife Lorraine and where his three grown children frequently visit with the six Worley grandchildren. If you have 30-60 minutes, just ask him about his beloved Gators or his golf game.
Mark began working with colleges and universities providing gameday premiums and promotions and his reach in the premium market has surpassed over 200 colleges and universities. He has been the driving force behind PPI Sports' expansion and their involvement in new and exciting initiatives throughout the past two decades. Under Mark's direction, PPI has expanded to service all realms of the collegiate marketplace. He was at the forefront of developing a conference championship memento program for several conferences, including the Big 12, Big Ten and Big East. His management and work with those conferences led to the NCAA awarding their entire student-athlete memento and volunteer apparel program to PPI Sports in 2007.
Mark is also a strategist behind PPI's most successful current venture, PPI Loyalty, which provides customized mailers and gift programs to development offices, alumni groups and booster programs.
Mark's continual focus on innovation, customer service and providing quality products and services on a scalable level for all colleges and universities is the primary reason PPI Sports is considered a market leader with sustained growth and success for more than two decades.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. While attending the UofM Mark was a member of the student support staff of the football program under Head Football Coach John Gutekunst while working as a Student Trainer/Manager for Tom Rutledge and Keith Jones. No stranger to being a leader for the football program he took over its booster program as its President during the Jim Wacker era and stayed in that role through the Glen Mason era. In working with Coach Mason he subscribed to Coach Mason's philosophy; If it's worth doing, do it right and if you cannot do it right, don't do it at all.
Mark lives in Blaine, MN., with his wife Katie and dog, Miller.
